Position Overview:

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk with expertise in ADP Payroll System and QuickBooks Desktop. The ideal candidate will assist with payroll management for 11-24 field laborers, leveraging their strong technical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a knack for process optimization.

The role involves using ADP and QuickBooks to enter and update payroll records while setting up an automation process for easier payroll management moving forward. The candidate will also be responsible for training the business owner on the new automated system to ensure its continued success.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with catching up on the backlog of payroll records that need entry into QuickBooks Desktop.
• Set up an automated process to efficiently update weekly payroll data from ADP into QuickBooks Desktop.
• Ensure the accurate weekly processing of payroll for 11-24 field laborers.
• Train the business owner to operate and maintain the automated payroll system independently.
• Conduct quality checks and reconcile payroll entries to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with the owner and/or team on solutions to streamline payroll operations.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in ADP Payroll System is a must.
• Expertise in QuickBooks Desktop is required.
• Proven ability to process payroll efficiently and accurately for field laborers or similar roles.
• Experience in setting up automated payroll workflows between ADP and QuickBooks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to effectively train others on processes.
• Previous experience in payroll administration and processing is required.

Monday - Friday, First Shift

Salary Range: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
